Hocus Pocus Studio animation studio approached me to help them create fun animated ads for LEGO. The brief was about coming up with different concepts of turning anytime into playtime, no matter how long you’ve got. Together, we've come up with three super-fun, super-simple games for families to play at home, in the car or anywhere else. I had the opportunity to illustrate all assets used in animation and also help with art direction across the three different ads.

Illustrations for internal marketing static ads

After BofC back and forward with the client on shaping the story tone of voice and creating all storyboards for each animation, I started creating the client deck for art direction. Mainly to establish the overall illustration style. I knew I had to use the brand colour palette, but I still presented my intentions to do it in a more pastel version of those same ones.
